Coming Soon...

I feel my blog needs to bring more to the world. For too long it has been a container for useless drival, mostly about ultimate ramblings, fortune cookie nonsense, and weekend updates that are as satisfying as Saturday Night Live's. There are nearly ten people who flock to this publication to devour the slop that I post, I suppose some people just need their thrill...I mean fill. Sorry my back space button is broken.
So announcing the beginning of a new series. Will-Ographies. That is right. I will be writing others biographies with the "Will" influence. I can't describe what that is but it will be good, trust me. Think of them has human intrest pieces. Besides I'll write them while I'm at work and that's when I'm most creative.
The first Thrill-Ography is in the works, but here is the teaser...
Who is Kevin Cissna?

Many have asked this question but few have recieved the answer that they expect. When I asked the question the most common answer I received was that Kevin is actually the 4th Stooge. Yeah that's right, there were 4 but Kevin's "Dead Pan" style didn't gel with Curly. Plus he hates curly hair people. Plus he's not funny.
The weirdest answer I recieved was that he was in fact not real. I was told that Kevin was created by the writers of the Fox Television Series Lost, they wrote the character for the series until Kevin actually came out of the paper they were writing on and said "Lost Sucks! What is a 'Smoke Monster'? Do you think before you write stuff? You're a bunch of pussies!" Then he left by slamming the door open.
I've also heard that Cissna is a mystical beast created from the gods to reign terror upon the weak, uncordinated, and leftys. His Wii Bowling skills are matched only by the his skills at whipping up a mean bowl of Cherrios. Then I told Kevin to shut up because that doesn't make sense.
Kevin - "I was sculpted by the hands of Zeus!"
Will - "So Zeus had his hands all over you?"
Kevin - "No, well yes, but not... He was sculpting, it's not gay"
Will - "I didn't say it was"
Kevin - "You were implying"
Will - "Well, do you normally let men put there hands all over you"
Kevin - "I love the fine arts"
Will - "Well did he sculpt... 'All of you'?"
Kevin - "Hell yes, I have a Zeus sculpted Ass"
Will - "It is nice"
More to come...

Maybe...

Weekend Update

YEAH MUFF!

Tryouts
Revolver tryouts tomorrow. Should be sweet I love tryouts. Everyone trying so hard trying to play perfect but not holding anything back. Not sure what to expect except seeing people pushing them selves hard. I had about 3-4 days off when Christina came up so I feel a little behind physically but I know wants I get warmed up I'll be ready to go.

Work
Theres about 2 weeks left until our sales conference in Dallas that I have been planning. Things are getting tight as we still have a few things to finalize. But overall it should go well, hopefully I look good and can move out of this department come next month. Fingers crossed.

Tahoe
Went snowboarding last weekend and I did really well even though I hadn't snowboarded in 2 years or so. I think it's because I watched so much of the Winter Olympics. I must have picked up on something up. Lindsey Von aint got nothin on me.

Health Care
It passed. Just thought you should know. I mostly like to read the arguments against it, most people seem pretty certain the world is ending. I hope so I hate this place. I've come to the conlusion that not very many sane people comment on articles or shitty blogs for that matter. :)

Question
How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? Answer: 7. How do I know this? Well it involves toothpaste, chicken wire, and I'm really not allowed in Marine World any more.

Anyways good luck tomorrow, play like you have a big dick.

What is your Fortune?

Over my many years traveling I have come across a plethora of eating establishments. And some of these establishments contain powerful pieces of wisdom that barely effect your life. They arrive with your meal, most often at the end or in a big bowl by the cash register. These knowledge nuggets can give you something meaningful to walk away with other than just a full tummy.
Often and only in cookie form the elusive Fortune Cookie has steered many people to prosperity as well as failure, mostly unrelated to what the fortune actually beholds. Also many people have passed the time by altering the fortunes meaning by adding the phrase "in bed!" to the end of it, although mostly frowned upon these teenage youngsters prosper in there snickering using this method.

Again among my many travels I have found the most powerful of fortune cookie proverbs and I'm ready to share these wisdom wig nuts with you. Take them as you will but these fortunes have literally done nothing in my life to help me prosper, if anything they have caused me to be more distracted at work while I write this meaningless blog post regarding them. These are actual fortunes I've recieved. So enjoy...

"Now is a good time for you to explore. Take a Vacation"

"Your financial life will be secure and beneficial"

"Life is not a struggle, it is a wiggle"

"Look behind you"

"Yes, that top does make you look fat"

"You will have gold pieces by the bushel"

Busy few weekends but again it should be fun and hey at least I'm out of the house.

PS. So I'm going to try to add a few more pictures to my posts. Here is my first shot.
Took these picture on the freeway in front of my house. Don't know why but it cracks me up. Ahh Sacramento...

Did I just lower the class of my Blog?

Weekend Update

Apparently I only ever post on Fridays...

Hamstring
Tweaked my Hamstring last week at practice. Just wasn't warm enough as I took off into a sprint. It got tight I went down. It feels alot better today as I have been taking it easy. I have started to ramp things back up and it feels ok. I haven't done anything super explosive but I've probably got up to 80% and have felt ok. I really just need to focus on getting it warm and keeping it warm, then I think I'll be fine.

Stanford
The Dogs went to the Stanford Open last weekend and played pretty well. We still have to shore up our defense, we did not look strong at times and had several mental lapses. There was an outside shot that we would make the Invite as the third place team since Squids and Ugmo were thinking of not going. But in the end Cal decided to attend so we get to sit and watch and all we have left before sectionals is DUI. Time to get to work.

Kevin and I took a 5 hour energy on Sunday, we coached so well.

Crossfit
Did my first Crossfit oriented work out yesterday.
25 Squats (no weight)
25 Sit ups
25 Push ups
25 Pull ups
50 Squats
50 Sit ups
50 Push ups
50 Pull ups
75 Squats
75 Sit ups
75 Push ups
75 Pull ups

Do the entire circuit and time yourself.

I was reading the post and the shortest time I saw was 23 minutes or so. I was at 30 mins and I could only get through half of the pull ups and push ups on the last set. I had to finish off with some chest presses for push ups, and then assisted pull ups with weight counters.

Overall it felt good though. Instead of wondering around looking for my next set I knew what was next and I hustled to it so I could get the best time. I was surprised at how much I was sweating while doing the pull ups. I'm going to try and continue to get these crossfit work outs in between my normal routine. Feels good. Ben I'm winning.

Girlfriend
I'm going to see her this weekend at the Stanford Invite. Her team is going down there to dominate so we'll see how it goes. But we should get some ample time to hang out Saturday night. Which is good because we haven't had tons of time alone together in awhile.

Club
Is turning out to be interesting here in these early stages. Looks like Jam is no more. And Revolver has beefed up even more so. There may not be alot of room for me at the big boy table but I will give it my all and make it a tough decision to not have me on the team. If I don't make it then we'll see where I go. SD team, Rev B, or coed (hopefully not). Either way these next few weeks are really going to motivate me to get into great shape and really try to do well at the upcoming tryouts. I love tryouts so much anticipation and angst. Bring it!

Work
Sucks

Lei-Out

Sick video Zip made. I'm not gonna say anything but my lay out at 2:00 is sweet. Plus its like the only one I ever got. Then theres the high release backhand at like 2:45 I think. Felt so good. Props again to Zip. http://vimeo.com/9831097
